Preview: Sotomayor vs. Warren
Sotomayor has enjoyed a nine-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Warren Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sotomayor's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Sotomayor has not won a game since January 23rd, a trend which continued on Friday. They fell just short of O'Connor by a score of 1-0. Sotomayor has not had much luck with O'Connor recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Warren kept a clean sheet against Stevens on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons and snuck past 1-0. Warren's winning goal came courtesy of Jayden Robles.
Sotomayor has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-7-3 record this season. As for Warren, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.
