Baseball Recap: Cedar Crest Comes Up Short

Cedar Crest was the 3-2 winner over Dallastown when they last played one another back in March of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell 8-5 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lucas Schreier made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Cedar Crest is 2-1 when Schreier posts three or more RBI, but 5-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Cevette, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Cedar Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Dallastown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

Coming up, Cedar Crest will take on Central York at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Dallastown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
