Basketball Recap: George Rogers Clark Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

Mercer County typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday George Rogers Clark proved too difficult a challenge. They enjoyed a cozy 54-38 win over the Mercer County Titans. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Titans are ranked 65th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead George Rogers Clark to victory, but perhaps none more so than Montez Gay, who en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Amari Bartelson, who posted nine points.
