With a playoff win on the line, Garrison Forest rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Notre Dame Prep as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Grizzlies: when they faced off against Notre Dame Prep back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.
While Garrison Forest might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Notre Dame Prep scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 26-24.
Among those leading the charge was Julianna LaRocco, who had nine digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.
LaRocco wasn't the only good servers: Garrison Forest was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in ten consecutive matchups.
