Edison won the last time they faced Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 81-59 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Central's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Alexander, who went 6-for-13 en route to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Hill, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds.

Edison's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Central, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Edison and Shawnee will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central will take on KIPP Tulsa University Prep in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
