There's no place like home for Burroughs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Oak Hills Bulldogs on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Burros in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: Oak Hills scored at least 22 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-22, 25-23.

Burroughs' offense was headlined by Mekenzee Walke and Kyla Chilbes, who picked up 16 kills apiece. They got some help from Alexa Santiago and her 28 assists. Bella Basham controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Burroughs' win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Oak Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.
