Softball Recap: Moon Area Comes Up Short

Moon Area lost to Thomas Jefferson back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers came up short against the Jaguars, falling 11-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moon Area saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Ray, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Moon Area's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Thomas Jefferson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-1 record this season.

Moon Area will square off against Peters Township at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thomas Jefferson, they will host Belle Vernon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
