The Westfield Wolverines are taking a road trip to face off against the Gowanda Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
Westfield's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Cassadaga Valley 11-0. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

In other batting news, Westfield got a massive performance out of Mackenzie Schumaker, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was Schumaker's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Hotchkiss, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Westfield lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Gowanda challenged Randolph on Friday. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cardinals 7-6. Seven seems to be a good number for the Panthers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Gowanda is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Westfield, their record now sits at 8-5.
