Basketball Recap: River Ridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Juda last Friday, River Ridge came back down to earth. The River Ridge Timberwolves took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Belmont Braves on Monday. The Timberwolves lost against the Braves in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 59-25 score last time.

River Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Belmont, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Potosi/Cassville the next time they take the court. Belmont will host Potosi/Cassville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while River Ridge will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on January 28th.
