Clyde had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Bellevue on Thursday. The Fliers put the hurt on the Redmen with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Fliers have won 13 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Clyde is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Bellevue, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
