Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shadow Creek). They never let the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Wednesday. Given the Sharks' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Mavericks are ranked 502nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Shadow Creek hit Pasadena Memorial with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kylie Bui (2), Elizabeth Allison, Kiana Puna, and Celeste Castillo.

Shadow Creek is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five games. As for Pasadena Memorial, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
