Volleyball Recap: Millennium Has No Trouble Against Phoenix Academy + How To Watch

Millennium lost to Phoenix Academy back in August, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Firebirds. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-22.

Kamber Ostrum paced Millennium's offense, picking up nine kills. Ostrum really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. Finally, she was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high nine blocks.

Millennium's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Phoenix Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Looking ahead, Millennium will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bethany Community at 6:00 p.m. As for Phoenix Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Forsyth Home Educators on the 3rd.
