Charlie Young posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Mount Tabor's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 3-1 (and 2-11 when he doesn't).

Young's strong effort led Mount Tabor over Parkland and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs are limping into the matchup having lost 17 straight at home dating back to last season.
