Soccer Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

If Wayne was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Newark on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell just short of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Wayne were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Honeoye Falls-Lima apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.

Wayne now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Honeoye Falls-Lima, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.
