Soccer Recap: Mobile Christian Takes a Loss

If Mobile Christian was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Alabama School of Math & Science last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Leopards fell 3-1 to the Davidson Warriors on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mobile Christian of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Madelyn Bell, who's now up to ten this season.

Mobile Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-1. As for Davidson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-2 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Mobile Christian and Davidson: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Leopards will look to extend Mary G. Montgomery's seven-game losing streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Davidson will try to hand UMS-Wright Prep their third-straight loss when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
