Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only T.C. Roberson walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Charlotte Catholic Cougars on Saturday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by six runs or more this season.

T.C. Roberson is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Charlotte Catholic, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-6-1.

Coming up, T.C. Roberson will square off against Providence on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. Charlotte Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
