            Softball Recap: Watsonville Wildcatz vs. North Salinas Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            Watsonville extended their losing streak  to five  on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 11-11 in the process. They fell  6-2 to the North Salinas Vikings. The Wildcatz were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won  6-3.
 Watsonville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ruiz Bella, who  went 1-for-2 with one  triple and one  run.
As for North Salinas, their  victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 6-14. The  win was some much needed relief for they as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 On North Salinas' side,  the team  relied heavily on  Iliana Perez, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  double.  Roxy Vargas was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her six plate appearances with two  runs.
 Watsonville has already played their next game,  a  2-1  victory against Palma on the 9th. As for North Salinas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  7-3  loss against Salinas on the 8th.
