Volleyball Recap: Chase County Triumphs

Chase County won the last time they faced Yuma and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Longhorns walked away with a 3-1 win over the Outlaws.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 23-25, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Dylan Heermann, who had 15 digs. Those 15 digs gave her a new career-high. Anna Aragon also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Chase County was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Yuma only served eight aces.

Chase County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Yuma, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Chase County will head out to square off against Sedgwick County on Tuesday. Yuma has already played their next match (against Akron), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
