It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wakefield had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 81-39 win over the Cleveland Rams. The Wolverines are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 14 straight.

Aly Schaffer went supernova for Wakefield, shooting 54% from beyond the arc on her way to 22 points. Thanks to that strong game, Schaffer now owns an excellent 45.7% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Sydney Conti, who posted 15 points.

Wakefield was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Angelia Dunn and Martina Paz-Aquino certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Dunn put up 20 points and three steals, while Paz-Aquino earned seven points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. The contest was Dunn's 11th in a row with at least 15 points.

Wakefield pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points over those games. As for Cleveland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-15.

Wakefield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-37 win against Jordan on the 28th. Cleveland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
