Springtown dropped down to 7-3 on Tuesday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Saginaw Rough Riders by a score of 40-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Porcupines have suffered since December 3, 2024.

As for Saginaw, their win bumped their record up to 4-5. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Springtown: they've now won three in a row.

Shaniah Franklin went supernova, putting up 22 points and seven steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024. Laila Freeman also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.
