Ellington entered their tilt with Bunker on Thursday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Whippets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ellington took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13.

Megan Copeland paced Ellington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Copeland got some help from Tayleigh Cowin and her 14 assists.

Ellington's win bumped their record up to 16-3-1. As for Bunker, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13-2 record this season.
