Volleyball Recap: West Field Has No Trouble Against Bonneville

West Field won the last time they faced Bonneville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Longhorns blew past the Lakers 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Longhorns.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-12.

West Field found their leader in freshman Jorie Schiffman, who had eight digs and six aces. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Schiffman.

West Field was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive contests.

West Field's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Bonneville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

West Field has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Northridge on the 2nd. As for Bonneville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Roy on the 2nd.
