Basketball Recap: Bath Wildcats vs. Shawnee Indians
After flying high against Temple Christian last Tuesday, Bath came back down to earth. The Bath Wildcats came up short against the Shawnee Indians on Friday, falling 62-41. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-41 back in November.
Shawnee's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Beckett Bertke, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, Bertke is now averaging an impressive 8.3 boards per game. Another player making a difference was Trevick Bertke, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 17 points and five assists.
