Cade Blunt Goes Supernova in Meeker Victory

Starting off the list is Meeker's Cade Blunt, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Blunt rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 35 yards and a touchdown. Those 137 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

The victory (which was Meeker's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. Blunt and Meeker will head out to challenge Roaring Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

Grand Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. Schoeppner and Grand Valley will be playing at home against Olathe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Meeker got the W thanks in part to Clay Crawford playing the best football he has all season. Crawford picked up 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Crawford must have Cedaredge's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Crawford last faced the Bruins back in September of 2023, he rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
