Basketball Recap: Highlands Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Highlands won the last time they faced Mesa Verde and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Highlands Scots enjoyed a cozy 45-30 win over the Mesa Verde Mavericks.

Highlands has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Mesa Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highlands will face off against Woodland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodland Christian will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Highlands surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mesa Verde, they will take on Vacaville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
