Football Recap: Weeki Wachee Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Weeki Wachee and Andrew Jackson squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Weeki Wachee had to settle for second. They lost 44-19 to the Tigers. The Hornets gained 95 more yards on the day, but it was the Tigers that made the best use of them.

Despite the loss, Weeki Wachee still got an impressive performance from Leelen Wright, who rushed for 139 yards and three TDs.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Antonio Queen and Jeremiah Hampton. Queen rushed for 83 yards and three scores on only 11 carries while Hampton rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Queen has posted since back in September of 2024.

Weeki Wachee is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4. As for Andrew Jackson, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
