Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Warwick). They came out on top against the Menchville Monarchs by a score of 15-10 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won five games in a row.

Warwick's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Menchville, their defeat ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Warwick and Menchville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Raiders see the field they'll take on Gloucester at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Menchville, their break will end when they face Kecoughtan at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th.
