Baseball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty and Cedar Cliff squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Liberty had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Colts by a score of 3-2.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Cedar Cliff, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cedar Cliff, they will challenge North Penn at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Colts surely won't give up without a fight.
