Volleyball Game Preview: Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots vs. MACCRAY Wolverines

The Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots will take on the MACCRAY Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hills-Beaver Creek took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Southwest Minnesota Christian.

Meanwhile, MACCRAY got the win against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Fighting Saints: they've now won six in a row.

MACCRAY's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Hills-Beaver Creek, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Hills-Beaver Creek came up short against MACCRAY in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, falling 2-0. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
