Soccer Recap: Bluffton Comes Up Short

Bluffton's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Hilton Head Island Seahawks by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Seahawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Bluffton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hilton Head Island, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Bluffton face off against Colleton County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hilton Head Island, they will venture away from home to square off against May River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hilton Head Island's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
