Softball Recap: Del Rio Comes Up Short

Del Rio lost to Medina Valley on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-3 to the Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Del Rio saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karina Limon, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Del Rio's loss dropped their record down to 14-14-1. As for Medina Valley, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-6.

Coincidentally, Del Rio and Medina Valley will both be playing Eagle Pass the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
