If Joseph City was riding high fresh off their 84-26 takedown of Mayer last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Joseph City Wildcats received a blow on Thursday as they fell 62-48 to the Williams Vikings. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Joseph City still got an impressive performance from Eli James, who posted 12 points along with five boards and four steals. James is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last 11 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaimen Tsosie, who had 13 points.
Even though they lost, Joseph City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.
