Basketball Recap: Mountain Vista Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Mountain Vista Golden Eagles came up short against the Davis Darts on Saturday and fell 67-57. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Mountain Vista lost, don't look at Hudson Rooney. Despite the final result, he shot 70% from the field on his way to 22 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hudson Partlow, who posted 11 points.

Tradon Bessinger had another great game (as he tends to do), going 5-for-7 en route to 16 points in addition to seven boards and six assists for Davis. Those six assists gave Bessinger a new career-high. Cameron Brower was another key player, shooting 47% from the field to rack up 20 points.

Mountain Vista now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Davis, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Mountain Vista will head out on the road to face off against Rangeview at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Davis, they will be playing at home against Bingham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
