Volleyball Game Preview: Overton Bobcats vs. Hume-Fogg Blue Knights

The Overton Bobcats will take on the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Hume-Fogg will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Overton extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Bobcats blew past Glencliff 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Overton took every set by at least 19 points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-6, 25-5.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hume-Fogg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on Ezell-Harding Christian with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hume-Fogg was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-8.

Overton's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Hume-Fogg, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
