East Bay and Freedom are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2015, but likely not for long. The Indians will be playing at home against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for East Bay and five for Freedom.

On Wednesday, East Bay came up short against Lakewood Ranch and fell 8-4.

Molly Johnson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Jensen Nelson, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Freedom fell victim to Strawberry Crest and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 18-0.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for East Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

East Bay took their victory against Freedom in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 17-2 score. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
