Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDonough). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Locust Grove Wildcats 71-29. The victory continues a trend for the Warhawks in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.

McDonough had a senior duo take command as Jadah Rembert posted 28 points and Amiyah Dedrick scored 26 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Rembert has scored at least a third of McDonough's points. Amira Carter was another key player, putting up ten points.

McDonough's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Locust Grove, they dropped their record down to 0-21 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

McDonough didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-44 victory against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy on the 5th. Locust Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
