Basketball Recap: Manti Takes a Loss

Manti was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 62-29 loss at the hands of the North Sanpete Hawks. The Templars were down 53-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Manti lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Carlie Thompson, who posted 13 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanille Anderson, who scored four points.

Manti's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for North Sanpete, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

Manti wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-36 loss against Emery on the 8th. As for North Sanpete, they have also already played their next matchup, a 58-42 win against Union on the 8th.
