Basketball Recap: Cloverport Takes a Loss

Cloverport lost against Hancock County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Aces had to suffer through an 84-15 loss at the hands of the Hornets.

Cloverport's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hancock County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Cloverport will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brown at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2026. Hancock County and Breckinridge County will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will be up against the Fighting Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 70.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
