Basketball Recap: Deshler's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to 12

Deshler extended their winning streak to 12 games thanks to a huge performance from Reece Davis. The Deshler Tigers took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 67-31 victory over the Sheffield Bulldogs thanks in part to Davis, who went 13 of 23 en route to 34 points. The game was her 15th in a row with at least ten points.

Deshler has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.1 points per game. As for Sheffield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Deshler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-47 win against Florence on the 18th. As for Sheffield, they will be playing at home against Colbert Heights at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
