Baseball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View lost to Flippin back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Yellowjackets took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kyson Owens was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Flippin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mountain View is set to square off against their familiar foe Valley Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Flippin will take on rival Bergman at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
