Basketball Game Preview: International Gryphons vs. BELIEVE Circle City Cyclones

The International Gryphons will venture away from home to square off against the BELIEVE Circle City Cyclones at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for International and 15 for BELIEVE Circle City dating back to last season.

Last Thursday, International had to suffer through a 78-30 loss at the hands of Park Tudor. While losing is never fun, the Gryphons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 436th, while the Panthers are ranked 194th).

Meanwhile, BELIEVE Circle City scored the most points they've had this season back in January, but it wasn't enough. They fell 49-41 to Purdue Broad Ripple.

International's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for BELIEVE Circle City, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for International against BELIEVE Circle City when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 79-39 victory. In that contest, International amassed a halftime lead of 50-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
