Volleyball Recap: Faith Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Faith Christian was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Temple Christian on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the North Cross Raiders on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Faith Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lily Carmouche had four aces and three digs. Carmouche is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

North Cross found their leader in sophomore Faith Johnson, who had 11 digs and three assists.

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for North Cross, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Faith Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Timberlake Christian on the 3rd. As for North Cross, they will take on Roanoke Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
