Canterbury took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lakeside Christian, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crusaders have posted since September 2nd.

Canterbury was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 22-25, 23-25, 25-12, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Sarasota Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over The Classical Academy of Sarasota on Saturday, taking the game 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Blazers in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won eight in a row.

In the three sets Sarasota Christian was on fire: they won each by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 20-25, 25-6.

Sarasota Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Canterbury, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
