Basketball Recap: Pennsauken Tech Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Pennsauken Tech entered their match against Palmyra on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Pennsauken Tech fell 50-37 to the Palmyra Panthers. Pennsauken Tech was probably out for revenge after losing 48-34 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Pennsauken Tech lost, don't look at Omari Spencer. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 16 on his way to 21 points and three steals. The contest was Spencer's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nehemiah Zayas De Jesus, who posted five points and five rebounds.

Pennsauken Tech's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5. As for Palmyra, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pennsauken Tech will face off against Burlington City at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palmyra, they will head out to face off against Willingboro at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
