Basketball Recap: Bradford Piles Up the Points Against P.K. Yonge

Bradford hadn't done well against P.K. Yonge recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bradford Tornadoes blew past the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave, posting a 76-44 win. The matchup marked the Tornadoes' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Leading Bradford to victory were Ar'Nayshia Griffin and Brown Nichelle. Griffin dropped a double-double on 33 points and ten boards, while Nichelle almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine blocks. Those 33 points gave Griffin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ky'Lee Johnson, who posted five points and six rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Bradford and bumps their season record up to 3-2. As for P.K. Yonge, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Bradford will challenge Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
