Basketball Recap: Rowan Lambert Key Part of a Team Effort in Knights Win

On Friday, the Lincoln Southeast Knights didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Blue Valley North Mustangs, but they still walked away with a 55-51 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Knights' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 36th in Nebraska, while the Mustangs are ranked third in Kansas).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln Southeast to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rowan Lambert, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Mike Ngoyi, who posted 16 points.

Lincoln Southeast's record now sits at 9-3. As for Blue Valley North, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.
