Soccer Recap: Stratford Academy Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four matches, Stratford Academy finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the First Presbyterian Day Vikings. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Stratford Academy fell to 5-1. As for First Presbyterian Day, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stratford Academy will square off against Tattnall Square Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for First Presbyterian Day, they will face off against John Milledge Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
