Volleyball Game Preview: Tri-City Christian Eagles vs. St. Joseph Academy Crusaders

The Tri-City Christian Eagles will head out to challenge the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Tri-City Christian came up short against Classical Academy on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Caimans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-9.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph Academy lost 3-0 to Del Lago Academy on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-20.

Tri-City Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for St. Joseph Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-19.

Tri-City Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Joseph Academy in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
