Volleyball Recap: Dakota Comes Up Short

Dakota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dakota's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Grosse Pointe South, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Dakota has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against St. Mary's Prep on the 6th. As for Grosse Pointe South, they will head out to take on Anchor Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
