Softball Recap: West Seattle Takes a Loss

West Seattle was the 10-6 winner over Holy Names Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. West Seattle lost 12-3 to Holy Names Academy on Friday. West Seattle has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Molly Lefkowitz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

West Seattle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Holy Names Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. West Seattle will take on rival Garfield at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Holy Names Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Eastside Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
